I have nothing to say, but that's never stopped me before.
I decided I wanted to learn to create wikis, so I made one at work. It was easy. It is useful. It is a good way to share information with colleagues worldwide. So then I decided to make one for myself at home. Then it occured to me, what the heck will I do with a wiki?
You might never see the personal wiki unless I come up with something clever to do with it, but I will let you know if that happens. Up next... a Sharepoint site! That I have nothing to put onto! Woo!
I got back from Hartford last night. SNG kept e-baby awake for me, and she was in the tub when I got home. She did a little splash-splash of joy and swam a victory lap before sticking two fingers right up my nose and saying "Mommy-MINE!" She was right, of course.
What else? Oh, did I mention we joined Netflix? We have the $5 a month plan that they only offer so they can say "starting at $5 a month" in their advertisements. We can only have one video at a time, up to 2 in a month, and if someone else wants the DVD instead, we have to hand it over right away or get beaten up before they take our lunch money. We've watched the first 2 3/4 seasons of the "new" BBC Dr. Who series and I want the rest of season 3!! Netflix hasn't sent it yet and we've waited a long time. I'd complain, but I kind of get the feeling that Netflix hopes we'll go away and join Blockbuster.
And now I'm going to bed because it is Friday night, I'm brain dead and we're going hiking with Zen and Season first thing in the morning tomorrow.
Have a great weekend!

LeBon will be so pleased to know that you two have started watching Doctor Who. He watches it religiously, I just catch episodes here and there. Did you watch the ones with Christopher Eccleston or just David Tennant? I like them both, but I have a bit of a crush on C.E., so I was mad when he left the show.
I think they're showing a marathon on Season 3 on BBC America at some point in the near future, if you want to DVR it.
You took the words out of my mouth- I was about to say that I have a mini-crush on CE as Dr. Who. David Tennant is very silly and endearing, but Christopher Eccleston was just *rrrowhr* in that leather jacket. And his silly side was endearing as well. He just had more rage. I don't think David Tennant has any rage at all.
What's funny is that I've never been a Dr Who fan AT ALL before it was revived most recently. Now I think I need to go watch old episodes from the 60s and 70s to see if it was as good then.
Not that this one has been all good-- I thought I'd have to completely give up on the show after the Daleks in New York episodes. When will BBC casting agents realize that you can't hire English people to do regional American accents? Made my ears bleed.
I know, the accents are pretty bad. But I think they must feel that way about American actors trying to pull off British accents. (I'm looking at you, Renee Zellwegger.)
DON'T rent the ones from the 70's. Dave Netflix'ed them in a fit of nostalgia, and they are horribly, laughably bad. I think the BBC must've had a $5-per-episode budget for special effects back then. (Maybe less.) You can't even notice if the stories are good or not because you're too busy cracking up at how awful the show looks. And there is nothing sexy about Tom Baker at all.
The 70's Dr Who's were supposed to be camp, and they succeeded. Maybe too well. Depends what you're looking for - I thought they were funny.
