Well, it's been our main choice since the beginning, but I'm superstitious, so we wanted to wait and "meet" her and made sure that the name suited her. I had two or three other names as backups, just in case she didn't look like a Catherine. And you might be surprised to know that it was LeBon's first pick for a baby name. I think it might have something to do with the fact that his first significant girlfriend was named Catherine - she was a good Christian girl who dumped him to go be a missionary to third-world countries or some such nonsense. They were about 18 at the time. Whatever - her loss, my gain. :)

I didn't realize that she was going with the name Catherine. What a good choice and what a cute baby! Congrats!!
I didn't either- nobody knew. I just love the name, too!! She's so cute. E-baby and I will be meeting her in about 5 weeks. Can't wait! :-D
